"Are you really sure that a floor can't also be a ceiling?"

This is what I wore to school yesterday.
Photobucket
When I was younger my parents used to call me their princess all the time. I took this nickname very seriously. I can still remember the frustration I felt during one of my birthday parties, it was probably my fourth. I was running around and telling everyone I was clearly royalty. When the only responses I got came in the forms of laughs or coos I was not amused. I think I even cried. Anyways the tights I wore were very sparkly and for some reason the idea or character of a princess from another planet popped into my head. My friend Rachael saw this and said all I needed were some sharp shoulders and I would look like a space cadet. So do you think I look like a space princess or a space cadet?

What I Wore - x 2

Wearing a scarf as a shirt is a viable alternative

This is what I wore to school yesterday.
I'm wearing;
-my dad's sweater
-a scarf/pashima (as a shirt). I bought this in Egypt for about 5$.
-Red headband salvaged from an old torn pair of stockings.
-Skinny jeans I got from Urban Outfitters for about 15$.

This is what I wore to school on Monday and on the 6th to Locke Street Festival. The only difference would be the footwear. I wore sandals on the 6th and on Monday I wore my black mary jane's with my polka-dot socks.
I'm wearing;
-grey tank from H&M
-my mother's jacket
-red headband
-UO skinny jeans
-polka-dot socks
-my mary-jane heels (about 2 inches high)
-my VV briefcase

And in case you're wondering I'm holding my keys in my hand.

What I Wore - School Girl

school girl

So today I rocked a modest beehive but I'm not sure if you can see it that well in these pictures. I'm doing another post today with some pictures of my hair do, so hopefully you'll be satisfied with the detail in either of these pictures. Today I was a weird Valentina version of a school girl. The clothes I wore were:

1. Old School Uniform
2. Sunglasses from the Dollar Store
3. H&M Grey Tank
4. Striped tights from Sears
5. (You can't see them here) Beige Ballet flats from Old Navy
6. Old black tights as a headband & a turquoise bow headband on top from H&M
7. Thrifted Briefcase that I nabbed at Value Village's big 50% sale for 2$!

YUS! VICTORY IS MIIIINE =DDDD

*does a little internet jig* HA! Take that, messy room of mine. You couldn't hide my camera charger from me forever! (Yes this means I finally found my camera charger)

Guys I'm so happy right now. I can start posting pictures now. Life is grand.

Tomorrow I'll be doing my own twist on the "School Girl" look. Cross your fingers that I won't have too much homework, so I'll be able to blog quicker.

Also first day of school was amazing! I love all my classes, yes even my grade 10 French one. Even the "scary" Mr. Barrett doesn't seem that bad but I think that's because he likes me so I won't be on the receiving end of his wrath.

-The classes I have in order for 1st semesters are-
Sociology, Anthropology & Psychology - Mr. Barrett
Grade 10 French - Mme. Panton
University English - Mrs. Newton
World Religions - Mr. Barrett

What I Wore Before

The hunt continues. My camera charger is still evading me and I refuse to pay 70$ for a new one. Maybe I can find a cheap one on ebay... hmm. Anyways I was perusing some old pictures of myself and came to the conclusion that I liked a lot of the things I wore when I was 1-6, after that not so much. I also tend to cringe a bit when I see old pictures of myself from 7 years old and up because I got taller then gained weight sooo I look very gangly in those pictures.

To compensate for the fact that I can't do any WIWT posts until my camera charger re-appears into my life, here are some peaks into what-I-wore-when-I-was- much-younger.

Valentina= a 18 year old girl with an intense love for life, color and style. My family is my life and I’m having a torrid affair with television and loving every second of it. I like my school and I love my friends and I’m learning to love myself too. I love playing around with clothes but I haven’t found the patience yet to be able to keep up with actual fashion. This is a me blog where I’ll write about my life, my outfits and anything else that comes to mind. "It is absurd to divide people into good & bad. The vast majority of the photos I use on this blog are not mine. Whenever possible I will credit photos but in some insistences this isn't possible. For example I have a collection of un-credited photos saved on my computer. So unless otherwise noted the photos on this blog are not mine. If you see an un-credited photo and it's yours (or you know who it belongs to) let me know so I can either take it down or give you credit.
